Legal
Privacy notice
Comprehensive privacy notice under Mexico’s Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) and its Regulations. Applies to www.gajuma.mx and GAJUMA’s quote form.
1. Controller identity and address
The controller of personal data is GAJUMA (trade name for private transport in Mexico City, Puebla, Xalapa, and Veracruz). Website: https://www.gajuma.mx. Contact phone: (228) 179 7824 / +52 228 179 7824.
Legal name, tax ID (RFC), and fiscal address: [Legal name / RFC / address pending publication]. Until the full address is published, you may exercise your rights and request the updated notice by phone or via the contact form.
2. Personal data we collect
Through the quote form and phone or WhatsApp communication we may collect:
- Identification and contact data: name, phone number, and any details you include in notes.
- Service request data: city, trip type, origin, destination, date, and comments related to the transfer.
- Minimal browser technical data needed to display the site (we do not operate a public prospect database on this site).
We do not request sensitive data, financial data, or identity documents on this site to send a quote.
3. Purposes of processing
Primary purposes (necessary for the service you request):
- Receive and handle your private-transport quote request.
- Contact you by phone or WhatsApp to confirm transfer details, schedules, and service conditions.
- Coordinate the contracted service (pickup, destination, vehicle, and operational follow-up).
Secondary purposes: we do not use your data for mass marketing, automated profiling, or commercial transfer. If secondary purposes arise later, you will be informed and consent obtained when required by law.
4. Data transfers
This site does not submit the form to our own server that stores a public database. When preparing your request, the message may open in WhatsApp to +52 228 179 7824 for you to send. WhatsApp / Meta process those data under their own policies.
We do not sell or rent personal data. Transfers may occur only when legally required, by competent authority order, or when needed to provide the service with your knowledge (for example, operational coordination of the transfer).
5. ARCO rights and consent withdrawal
You may exercise Access, Rectification, Cancellation, and Opposition (ARCO) rights, limit use or disclosure, and withdraw consent by contacting us via:
- Phone / WhatsApp: (228) 179 7824
- Form at www.gajuma.mx/en/contacto
In your request include your name, a means to notify the response, a clear description of the right you wish to exercise, and documents proving identity or representation if applicable. We will process requests within LFPDPPP timelines.
If you believe your personal-data protection rights have been violated, you may go to the corresponding Mexican supervisory authority.
6. Consent
By submitting the quote form, calling, or writing on WhatsApp, you consent to processing the data you provide for the primary purposes in this notice. Providing data is voluntary; without it we cannot quote or coordinate the service.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
The site is primarily static. It may use browser or hosting infrastructure mechanisms (for example, Cloudflare) for security and content delivery. We do not operate our own behavioral advertising under this notice.
8. Changes to this privacy notice
We may update this notice for operational or legal changes. The current version will be published at https://www.gajuma.mx/en/privacidad with the last-updated date. Continued use of the site or form after an update means you are aware of the published version.
